Swiss Skin Tech: A Revolution in Skincare
Intuisse has partnered with Professor Giovanni Camici, PhD in cardiovascular physiology, Director of the Center for Molecular Cardiology at the University of Zurich and Laboratoire BIO-EC, a specialist French research centre for cosmetic and dermatological studies, to conduct extensive advanced experiments on the efficacy of our products.

The aim of the study was to examine the impact of Intuisse’s 5% liposomal formulation on the following three bio-markers using human living skin explants ex vivo.
Laminin-V is a basement membrane glycoprotein and a key component of the anchoring complex connecting keratinocytes to the underlying dermis. Laminin-V contributes to the resistance of the epidermis against frictional stress but also to basement membrane regeneration and repair of damaged skin.
Elastin is a protein of the connective tissue responsible for the elastic properties of the skin. The principal function of elastin is its ability to elastically extend and contract in repetitive motion when hydrated.
Elastin is the major component (90%) of the elastic fibers of the skin. UV exposure is able to damage the elastic network of the dermis, including elastin.
Collagen I is the main component of collagen fibers. Collagen I levels decrease not only during the ageing process, but also in chronically sun-exposed human skin.

The International Organisation of Standardisation is an independent, non-governmental international organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland. ISO 16128 provides standardised guidelines on technical definitions and criteria for natural and organic cosmetic ingredients and products, which are reviewed every 5 years. An ingredient is considered of 'natural origin index’ if it contains more than 50% of natural raw sources (i.e. plants or minerals).
Conclusions:
Based on the evaluation of the ingredients, the Face Serum has a naturality score of 95.64%, the Essential Cream has a naturality score of 96.51%, the Eye Serum has a naturality score of 96.25%, and the Cleansing Lotion has a naturality score of 95.89%.
